I think instead of having 95 enter NJ in two sections, the northern section (Scudders Falls Expswy) should be turned into I-295 along with the other section in PA; I-95 will eitehr leave on its current exit or as originally planned thru Hopewell, along with I-276.

Where is this interchange in PA (exit 40?) I don't really get where they are going to have it cross. I guess they want I-95 to go through Philly, but then what are they going to number the road west of Trenton (295?). I still wished they had built the Somerset Freeway. Its a pain going North or South from where I live. If they went parallel to the US 1 corridor at 95/295 and then along the canal they might still have land. I'd be in favor of upgrading US 1 to freeway status between trenton and I-287 and having some sort of upgraded connections between 206 and US 1 even if they weren't highway status.
