Utah: Beautiful state with a weird shield

I dunno...something to do with bees, I guess.

But the most beautiful state in the country deserves better. A shield that really symbolizes what it's all about. Here's my take:



I incorporated lots of color and even a state landmark. This picture is adapted from a postage stamp.

I think Utah is called the " Beehive state" thats why the sheilds in that design.

I have no clue WHY their called the Beehive State.

The current sheild is OKAY but not very eye cathing like yours is.

BTW, what is with limiting shapes and colors on route signs to only black and white?
