Hi.I found (today)and watched the entire series of Road Dreams that I taped when it was first shown on C4,then repeated a little later.The picture and sound quality is fine(though not in stereo)..I don't think I've watched it for about 15years,but it surprised me how fresh,bright and optimistic it seems,even now.. Hi, I have been interested in a long time in this series.
I believe there were 6 episodes in total with parts repeated in other episodes. I have all of them on numerous vhs tapes ( quality ok I guess ) and get them out once in a while.

I am married now and we used the music from the episodes at our wedding. The Perptuum Mobile song is done by Penguin Cafe and would be most grateful if anyone knows where I can get the other tunes from?
Happy to send copies of the episodes for free to anyone who wants them( if in the uk though ! )- if outside I can still send but pp will have to be paid somehow.

I have a very poor quality copy with lots of sound distortion which I taped from C4 years ago on an old machine. Why oh why has this never been issued commercially? 8-)Blimey! I thought I was alone in being addicted to Road Dreams! I have the series on VHS and often watch it...I've made sure the tab is off the cassette so it can't be recorded over!
I wish Elliott would go back over the same route...with Video this time...and possibly meet some of the people he met in the 60's.
